I sent a request to Jerry Trupiano asking him to write his famous radio call of David Ortiz's walk off home run and this is what I received:

"Ortiz, so many times the hero for the Red Sox trying to have the ballclub jump on his back one more time. The 2-1 pitch. Swing and a drive! Deep to right! Way back and this ball is GONE!"
"Jump on his back fellas! The Red Sox win! David Ortiz another walk off home run. This one in the 12th and the Red Sox beats the Yankees 6 to 4."
"David Ortiz, his fourth career walk off home run. He will be mobbed at home plate and the Red Sox live to play again!"
