"Satchel Paiges Last Strikeout - 9/25/65"

I sent a request to Bill Monbouquette asking him to tell the story on a baseball about what he remembered about being the Satchel Paige's last strikeout victim and this is what I got:

"We did not have a lot of good swings off of him. Yaz had a double to left center. Yes I remember they lit matches after he left the game."
"He was throwing around 86-87 with great location. I did not foul any pitches. He threw me all F.B.'s [fast balls]. Had a nice and easy motion. I saw him as a kid at Fenway Park."
