"Dave Kingman's Metrodome Popup - 5/4/84"

I sent a request to Joe Angel asking him to write his call from when Dave Kingman hit a popup at the Metrodome that never came down and this is what I received:

"Viola ready, the wind up and 2-1 delivery is swung on and a Major League pop up in the infield. Viola says where is it? Now Jimenez is there and let's see does anyone see that ball?"
"It stayed up in the air! I don't believe it! That ball stayed up in the air. That ball never came down! Now let's see what the ruling on this is. That ball simply never came down."
"I mentioned immediately it was a Major League pop up but that wasn't a Major League popup, that's a whole different league!"
